Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website.

These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and collaborators engaging with Knotty Cabinetry LLC online or through direct inquiry.

Our Services

Knotty Cabinetry LLC provides custom cabinetry design, fabrication, and installation services for residential and commercial clients.

Every project is built to order and designed to suit individual spaces and client needs.

No portion of this website constitutes a formal contract, quote, or guarantee of service availability.

Contracts are only binding once signed by both parties and accompanied by a deposit as outlined in project agreements.

Estimates, Deposits, and Payments

All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before fabrication or material ordering begins.

The remaining balance is due upon substantial completion of the project scope, notwithstanding minor punch-list items.

Failure to make payment when due may result in finance charges, collection fees, or suspension of work as outlined in our signed agreements.

Scheduling and Delays

Project start and completion dates are estimates only. While we work diligently to stay on schedule, delays may occur due to supply chain issues, weather, coordination with other trades, or other factors beyond our control. Knotty Cabinetry LLC will communicate any schedule changes promptly and will not be held liable for incidental or consequential damages related to delays.

Site Conditions & Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • Clear and safe access to work areas

  • Completion of prep work (such as removing old cabinets or clearing spaces) unless otherwise contracted.

  • Coordination with licensed electricians or plumbers as needed

Knotty Cabinetry LLC does not perform electrical or plumbing hookups unless specifically contracted to do so.
Work areas must be safe, accessible, and ready for installation.

Warranty

Knotty Cabinetry LLC provides a limited one-year craftsmanship warranty on custom-built cabinetry.
Hardware carries a five-year warranty as provided by the manufacturer.

Warranty coverage excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Wood movement or joint separation due to humidity or natural expansion/contraction

  • Damage caused by misuse, water exposure, or modification by others

  • Natural color variation, grain patterns, or patina changes over time

For warranty service, please contact us during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Quality and Craftsmanship

All wood is a natural material and will vary in grain, texture, and tone. These variations are not considered defects.

Minor surface variations, joint lines, and touch-ups are normal in high-quality, handcrafted cabinetry.

Our work is performed to the highest industry standards, but natural materials and hand finishing may create subtle differences that add to the beauty of the finished product.

Photographs, Media & Advertising

We may photograph and share completed projects for promotional and portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
For confidential or high-profile projects, a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be requested and mutually executed.

Limitation of Liability

Knotty Cabinetry LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project in question.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from work or communication with Knotty Cabinetry LLC shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion.

If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and adjudicated in Comal County, Texas.
